As a youngin', I always enjoyed watching my mom & granny make and bake things. It was always fun seeing how things were made and the different approaches that they each took when making something.
My granny, "Ms. Betty Jo" was always baking something up in her tiny kitchen whether it ranged from cookies to her delicious homemade dinner rolls. Whatever it was, it was always very fun and informative to watch and learn with her.
With mom, it wasn't as hands-on, however she didn't mind letting me watch and be there to lick the spoon when she was done with her mixing. :)
With art being a hobby of mine, I decided to take a step forward into baking as a fun "artsy" hobby. To me, a naked cupcake or cookie is equivalent to a blank canvas so you're free to create whatever artistic piece that you want.
I created some of my own custom recipes and allowed family and friends to try them. With them being a hit and after being told time after time that baking is something I should pursue, in the summer of 2016, "SugarStudio316" was born. Gifting myself a sweet treats company that particular year for my birthday would be something that I wouldn't regret doing.
My husband & family are my own personal motivational team as well as my friends and they are all very proud! I know that my Granny in heaven is also very proud too. My virtual bakery, "SugarStudio316 LLC" is here and the menu is constantly growing. I look forward to sharing these treats with you all! :)
